Following reports overnight of a suspicious male loitering in the area, I attended to carry out enquiries and offer reassurance to local residents.

During the visit we identified that several properties near the reported location were almost completely obscured by a high hedge. This significantly reduced visibility from the roadside, creating opportunities for potential criminals to remain concealed!

After positive engagement with both the tenants and the landlord, I provided bespoke crime‑prevention advice tailored to the issue. As a result, the hedge height has now been lowered, improving visibility and reducing the likelihood that criminals could exploit this vulnerability.
